A marketing audit is often the first stage of our work with clients, to review how their current marketing activity is performing towards their business objectives. The audit will also include prioritised improvement recommendations, all designed to improve the return on investment.
We usually review:
- Marketing and brand building strategy – including value proposition, target market and competitor analysis
- Marketing messages
- Website user experience, copy and search engine optimisation (SEO)
- Marketing collateral – including brochures, newsletters etc
- Communication channels – including PR, social media, advertising, events and how each is being used
- Results to date
The audit report is usually presented face to face, so recommendations can be discussed and next steps agreed.
